This desk was realized as a commission and was designed for a specific space. The desk is constructed of ceramic (French clay). There are two built-in light sources installed on the underside. These provide light from underneath the table surface which makes the table appear to float. It also provides indirect lighting to the room. Furthermore, the table has two drawer blocks including a rolling system. On the topside is a calves-leather writing surface with a drawer for smaller writing utensils. Additionally, the desk has an electric outlet, adsl and network connections.
